European Night of Museums

On Saturday, May 14, many museums open their doors for free throughout France and Europe from dusk until midnight. A cultural event that has become a cult!

For this 18th edition of the European Night of Museums, the Musée de l'Orangerie welcomes you from 5:30 pm to midnight.
Lecturers are available to present the permanent collections, from Les Arts à Paris to Claude Monet's Water Lilies. These talks are offered free and continuous access, from 6:30 pm to 10 pm.

The exhibition « Impressionnist Decorations », the Contemporary Counterpoint devoted to Ange Leccia, as well as the Focus collection « Novo Pilota, Amedeo Modigliani and his dealer Paul Guillaume » also welcome you.

 

 

 

  • Free on reservation
  • From 5.30 pm to midnight (last entry at 11 pm)
  • Evacuation of the rooms at 11.45 pm

From 9pm, access to the Tuileries garden only through the archway of the Orangerie (corner of Place de la Concorde, Seine side).
