Je vais t’écrire (I’m Going to Write to You) is a danced networking session between Vania Vaneau and Nicolas Fayol, Christian Rizzo’s ever faithful interpreters. Composed by a novel combination of two solo pieces, Miramar (creation in 2022) and En son Lieu (creation in 2020), the physical division explores the vibratory power of parallel solitudes.

Is a body capable of condensing exterior and interior spaces? Following on from his previous pieces, these solos choreographed by Christian Rizzo mark a new direction with its source in the landscape. The choreographer and two interpreters, Vania Vaneau and the hip-hop dancer hip-hop Nicolas Fayol, have answered “the call of the outdoors” together.

After bringing together thirteen dancers’ flows of solitude under one roof, set foot in the world of storytelling and relocated dances born in the confinement of a studio to sprawling landscapes, Christian Rizzo has added a new piece to his choreographic and architectural puzzle, also enabling him to enlarge his archipelago of solos.

In creative cycles, taking the form of diptychs and triptychs coordinating visual and danced works, the choreographer Christian Rizzo’s body of work constantly puts the space conducive to the summoning up of memory and activation of renewed imaginary worlds back into play. Born of an impromptu created on the occasion of the opening of the ICI—CCN season for the Cour de l’Agora, Je vais t’écrire. is a danced networking session between Vania Vaneau and Nicolas Fayol, faithful interpreters of his most recent creations. Christian Rizzo presents this piece in a version specially designed for the Salles des Nymphéas, as he had done for bc, janvier 1545 fontainebleau in October 2022 at the same venue.

Composed by a combination of two solo pieces (created in 2022 and 2020 respectively), their physical division explores the vibratory power of parallel solitudes.

Each working on their own danced sequences and addressing the surrounding physical space and an invisible vanishing at the same time, the two performers follow the meticulous progression of a space in the process of transformation, revealing itself through the prism of a luminous scenic object.
