Silent short films presented and accompanied on the piano by Serge Bromberg, just as Apollinaire would have seen them.
In five films with accompanying piano by Serge Bromberg spread out throughout the evening, you can discover the films from the Lobster Films Collection that Guillaume Apollinaire would have seen when they were first released. From Méliès to Chaplin, from early films with sound to bawdy films, these films with their lively accompaniment give us an unusual and magical account of what the world and life were like at the beginning of the 20th century.
Exceptional opening of the Apollinaire, The Eyes of the Poet exhibition from 6.30pm to midnight.
Please note: the 11pm screening is for adults only.
A programme proposed by Lobster Films.
