Due to the organization of the Paris 2024 games, access to the Musée de l'Orangerie is modified. Access to the Jardin des Tuileries is restricted. We invite you to consult this page regularly, which will be updated as the situation evolves.

Entering the Jardin des Tuileries

Access to the Jardin des Tuileries is restricted.

To enter the Jardin des Tuileries and access the museum, please use:

  • The gate at the corner of rue de Rivoli and rue du Général Lemonnier

  • The gate at the Sédar Senghor footbridge

As a reminder, unicycles and two-wheelers are prohibited in the Jardin des Tuileries. Thank you for your attention.

Access for people with reduced mobility

People with reduced mobility can access the Tuileries Gardens via the ramp on the Louvre side, at the corner of rue de Rivoli and avenue du Général Lemonnier.
To gain access to the museum, please show proof of identity to the ticket inspector, who will direct you to the access reserved for people with reduced mobility.

Parking near the Musée de l'Orangerie is no longer available. If you are coming to the museum by car, you can only use the drop-off zone. Vehicles must park outside the Tuileries Gardens. Vehicles must enter the Tuileries Gardens through the gate on avenue du Général Lemonnier. In the garden, please drive at a walking pace, with hazard lights on.
Vehicle access procedures remain unchanged. A request must be sent at least one week in advance by e-mail (information@musee-orangerie.fr), with the following supporting documents: a scan or photo of the mobility inclusion card, the vehicle registration number, the make and color of the vehicle, and the date and time of the visit.
