Situated right in the heart of Paris, in the Tuileries Gardens, the Musée de l'Orangerie has developed greatly since it re-opened in 2006. It welcomes on average 800 000 visitors per year.

Its two exceptional collections - Claude Monet’s Water Lilies and the Jean Walter - Paul Guillaume Collection that includes works by Renoir, Cézanne, Modigliani, Matisse, and Picasso, among others – are the major attraction. The two temporary world-class exhibitions held each year also contribute to the institution’s renown.
