The Water Lilies. American Abstract Art and the Last Monet, an exhibition at the Musée de l’Orangerie

A general presentation of the exhibition through its two sections, one devoted to the artists of Abstract Expressionism grouped together by the critic Clement Greenberg under the term "American-style painting" and seen by him to be following in the footsteps of Monet, the other, showing the artists called “Abstract Impressionists”, whose works are in dialogue with the later works of the master of Giverny.
