Dada. Hybridisation and Non-Western Sources

Committed to an experimental and combinative approach, the Dada artists created a new category of forms. They helped bring out unprecedented relationships between language, image and sound. The liberating and controversial act that is the process of hybridisation enabled art to break free of its boundaries. This study day, organised at two venues, therefore proposes to analyse the concept of hybrid through the fertile chaos that opening up to non-western sources and influences represents.
