A conversation with...

There is nothing like the artist’s own words, and so the idea of these "Conversations with…" is to seek out creators from different generations with different artistic practices, and to invite them speak about the adventure of their creative journey.
Following on from Gérard Garouste, Agnès Varda and Claire Tabouret in 2015, Gérard Fromanger, Jean-Pierre Raynaud, Agnès b. and Catherine Millet in 2016, Giuseppe Penone and Marin Karmitz are the next guests.
Each of these "Conversations with…" will follow the same format: the first part is an introduction, the second, their views on the work of Claude Monet, and the third and more extensive part will be a talk and an analysis of their own approach. Finally, at the end of this exchange, you will have the opportunity to take part if you so wish.
The purpose of these encounters, held amongst the great decorative installation of the Water Lilies, is threefold: to discuss contemporary artistic creativity in a setting which is itself emblematic; to invite artists to talk freely about their work in complete serenity, giving a greater understanding of how they see their role and their place in society; finally, to enable you to take advantage of these exchanges by offering the opportunity to take part.
These encounters start at 7pm and are led by Philippe Piguet, historian and art critic.

The next meetings will be soon communicated.
